NEDCS Prepares to Kick Off 2025 Season!

Troy, NH- Just days before the 2025 race season is scheduled to kick off New England Dwarf Car Series teams continue to prepare for the 16-race schedule. Officials continue to feverishly work behind the scenes to make sure it’s the best season to date and will continue to work all season long. With over 20 drivers pre-registered for the season and more that have yet to register this season is shaping up to be exciting.
Join us Sunday April 20th at Claremont Motorsports Park as we kick off the season. In addition to the racing action, you can stop by the series trailer and purchase some baked goods as we look to add some money to our points fund. The series is also selling 50/50 tickets until July 11th; tickets are $20 a piece and we are selling a maximum of 500 tickets. The winning ticket will be drawn in victory lane at Lee USA Speedway on July 11th. For every 100 tickets sold an additional ticket will be drawn with the individual winning a pit pass to a NE Dwarf Car Series Race of their choice; stop at the trailer for tickets or see a series official! In addition, we have a blowout sale on 2024 T-Shirts ($10) and Hats ($15) while supplies last!
As we look at drivers registered for the season, we start to take stock of who is the favorite to win the championship. 2024 Series Champion Tom Harwood had his #29 Coldfire Industries machine firing on all cylinders all last season and has to be the favorite to repeat. But you can’t count out 2022 Series Champion Cody Hodgdon in his #31 has been a consistent contender the past two seasons and after just coming up short past two seasons is looking to return to the top of the class. While the next individual hasn’t been able to run a full season the last 3 years, the past two they have shown they are capable of winning races and if they can run the full season should be contending for the championship and that’s Jason Hodgdon in the 31H. Chris Sullivan, a long time veteran of the dwarf car ranks has been mister consistent and has to be considered someone that is going to contend for the championship as well. Andrew Harmon in the #14 came on late in the 2024 season and if he can carry that momentum through 2025, he stands a chance of taking the crown away from Harwood.
2024 Rookie of the Year Ronnie Carman has had some work done to his car over the winter in hopes of having an even stronger 2025 season in his #07. Zig Geno in the #57 has earned himself the role of spoiler running his limited schedule and if he ever ran a full season would be looking to show the younger drivers how to get it done. Another driver running a very limited schedule in 2025 is the 29 of Justin Harris who is always a threat to win a race when he rolls in to compete. Jeremy Rodimon has stated his intentions of running the full schedule in his new ride and hopes to have his new #23 rolling to the front! Sarah Hodgdon has a new ride for the 2025 season as she will be driving the Mike Henderson owned #197, though they haven’t decided on a schedule they are expected to make the season opener. Bob Poloski made a return to dwarf car racing in 2024 and has expressed he will be running the full 2025 season splitting his time between his own #8 and the Eric Bacon owned #26 or as we are calling it the #2+6.
This is going to be a season full of action and one you won’t want to miss but in case you can’t make it to the track every time we run numerous races will be streamed on PPV. This includes the season opener at Claremont Motorsports Park on RaceDayTV.com! We hope to see you at the track. Racing on Sunday begins at 2pm, for full details claremontmotorsportspark.com! You can even purchase your tickets online.
