New England Dwarf Car Series

Andrew Harmon Parks it in Fabian/Mt Snow Fuel Victory lane sponsored by the Town of Dover, VT at Hudson Speedway!

Hudson, NH- Mother Nature decided to give us a beautiful day for racing and celebrating Mom’s! 12 Cars made their way to the original family fun track looking to do battle. With all the rain the drivers would have to be mindful of a little water on the front stretch that ended up being only a visual concern.

“Top Gun” Tom Harwood wasted no time letting everyone know he was at the track by pacing both practice sessions. Andrew Harmon was also fast off the trailer as was Chris Sullivan and “The Caveman” Kenny Scott! Heat races were won by Bob Poloski and Harwood. Scary incident in heat race #2 saw a short red flag period as Jason Hodgdon’s car caught fire but thankfully he was able to escape safely.

Feature time would see the field brought to the green flag by Jeremy Rodimon. But Harmon wasted no time coming from his fourth starting spot to take the lead. The caution would fly on lap 18 for the 11 of Larry Debenedictis as he made contact with the inside safety wall in turn 4 ending his day. Harmon would retain the top spot on the restart again getting a healthy lead as Poloski, Harwood and Sullivan battled for 2nd through 4th. With Ronnie Carman and Miller Buzzell lurking behind. Harwood would bring out the caution on lap 22 as he was trying everything to get by Poloski and got a little sideways coming out of turn 2 just missing the tire barrier.

Harmon would again rocket out to the lead on the restart but this time Poloski would not far so well as Carman would sneak by for 2nd and Buzzell followed suit. As the dust settle Harmon parked his #14 machine in Fabian/Mt Snow Fuel Victory lane sponsored by the Town of Dover, VT followed by Carman in 2nd, Buzzell in 3rd, Sullivan held on to 4th and Harwood recovered to finish 5th. Full results and points standings can be found on our website in the schedule tab and points tab respectively.
